Julianne Adams began dancing at the age of 2. She trained in classical and contemporary ballet, as well as modern and jazz at Delaware Dance Company for 16 years. She also took private lessons with Sherry Hiott. She was a dance major at Cab Calloway School of the Arts where she graduated in 2012. In 2008, Julianne became a member of Delaware Dance Company’s Performing Company where she excelled through the ranks and soon became a Principle dancer. Her true passion being Classical Ballet, she was honored to perform the roles of “Clara”, “Snow Queen”, “Dew Drop Fairy” and “Sugar Plum Fairy” in The Nutcracker. Julianne also performed in Delaware Dance Company’s full length ballet of "Cinderella" where she danced the leading role of Cinderella.

She has trained at several other places along the east coast such as Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet, First State Ballet Theatre, Brandywine Ballet Theater, Joffrey Ballet of New York and Ballet Theatre of Maryland. While training during the summer, she had the privilege of working with Marcia Dale Weary, Ceyhun Ozsoy, Dianna Cuatto and many more. Julianne received full scholarships to Joffrey Ballet of New York and Ballet Theatre of Maryland, and was awarded money scholarships at Delaware Dance Festival and Maryland Dance Festival.

Julianne found her love for choreographing during her early years at Fierce, and she now has the privilege of choreographing ballet and contemporary pieces for Fierce’s award winning competition team. Many of her pieces have won judge’s awards as well as overall high scores at the Regional and National level.

Julianne also has the privilege of working one on one in private lessons with many of her students. She has choreographed solos for competitions and auditions for colleges, competitions, and more. In addition to several overall placements, she choreographed and trained our Mini Title winner 2 years running. She has also helped all of her students receive acceptance letters into Cab Calloway School of the Arts. Her students have also been awarded Joffrey Ballet scholarships and technique awards for their outstanding technical abilities. Most recently,  Julianne just completed certification for Progressing Ballet Technique (PBT), a program created by physiotherapists to safely strengthen dancers and increase the training of muscle memory in Ballet.

It has become Miss Julianne’s mission to bring Classical Ballet back to the competition world, as well as stress the importance of Ballet technique to all of her students.
